Which is most difficult part of your makeup?
My vote goes to 3. I must admit I am not very good with my eye makeup. Since, what a sword is to a warrior, a good brush is to a makeup artist to get the precision and desired results. Trust me guys a good makeup brush makes a lot of difference and goes a long way.
I always was wanting to invest in a good get of eye makeup brushes. And for me is MAC and equivalent. I had tried many options from Vega. Lakme and Colorbar but none got even closer to what I wanted. Buying MAC would have been a super expensive affair.
Then I learnt about Real Technique brushes by Samantha Chapman. Did a lot of reading about it and one fine day ordered it online from https://www.iherb.com/
I picked the below brushes:
I have posted about my brush haul in my earlier post. You can read it here.

I simply love these wonderful brushes. Unless you own a good set of brushes you will never know what it is to get the best results. They make makeup so damn easy.
I have cleaned them and I must say the shedding was bare minimal. They are superb quality brushes for great price.
I got them for $17.99 plus some discounts for buying a total of over $100.

This set has 5 different eye makeup brushes. Each of these brushes are very thoughtfully designed to be in this set. It comes in a case that doubles for a stand. While you are not using the brushes the set will be a humble case folder with elastic loops made to fix the brushes but when you are using them simply fold the case horizontally and pull the thread that holds the ends. Fasten with the button like thing at the end of the rope. Well something like this.
These 5 brushes are made for different supposes in eye makeup. and here they go.
- Deluxe Crease Brush
- Flat Brush for Eye shadow application
- Accent brush
- Pixel Point Brush
- Brow brush
- Deluxe Crease Brush - oversized design for effortless contouring. Made with super soft and fine bristles. Its bulb like size gets into the eye socket to create the great smokey effect while evenly spreading the color at the crease. Its great for blending colors on the eye lids.
- Flat Brush for Eye shadow application - flat design picks and transfers eyeshadow easily. Again the bristles are super soft and are very fine. It glides on the lids effortlessly. a few swipes and the color is transferred very well on the lids.
- Accent brush - designed for precision detailing, spotlighting, highlighting and smudging. This is superb size for working on the inner corner of the eyes, highlighting them and also smudging the eyeliner for a smokey look.
- Pixel Point Brush - tapered cut is ideal for dense or fine eyeliner application. Be it liquid, gel or powder eyeliner this brush works for all of it. Altough I prefer slightly harder brush for the gel eyeliner to get the right precision. This works best with liquid liner and powder.
- Brow brush - distinctive shape easily defines eyebrows. I am not a brow person but I am sure this will compliment the brows kit. Mainly gel ones , coz the bristles are harder than the other brushes.
