Mumbai Bloggers Meet by Purplle.com and Soulflower

One fine morning I get in invitation from Riddhi Sharma - Purplle.com for a Mumbai Blogger Meet by Purplle.com and Soulflower. I had mixed feeling happiness for being an official mumbai blogger and sceptical of what if it turns to be non-interesting. But I aware about Purplle.com a a superb portal for online beauty shopping and Soulflower - range of spa treatment that would lure me everytime I visited Shoppers Stop. I had to be there for this event!!!

12:15pm to 12:45pm – How To Beat The Heat and Stay ‘Always Fresh’? Summer Care Tips from Amit Sarda, CEO Soulflower.

12:45pm to 1:15pm  – Introduction to Purplle.com Salon Finder by Pankaj Balani, Head, Salons

1:15pm to 1:45pm – Interactive Session with the Bloggers. (Blogger Introductions And QnA)

2:00pm to 2:15 – How To Make A Soap?  Live demo of making pink for skin By Natasha Tuli, Co-Founder, Soulflower India

It was a very well organised event with about 25-30 bloggers mainly from Mumbai. We all were welcomed by our graceful host Riddhi Sharma. I must mention Riddhi is one charming and bubbly host who ensured all of us were very comfortable and enjoy ourselves.  It was great opportunity to meet like minded people. Soulflower team had very aesthetically displayed their set of product for us. I must say the range of product is very ellaborate and well thought off. There is something for everybody. The range is so beautifully spread from soaps to essential oils and perfumes, from skin type categorization to mood enhancing perfumes/oils. 

We had this interesting German Indian actress who is associated with Purplle.com, Suzzanne Bernert. She is a German born Indian actress who has worked in Hindi Honeymoon travels)and Marathi movies. What was a pleasant surprise was that she speaks Hindi better than many Hindi actors :) She is married to  Akhil Mishra of the Uttaran fame. 

We got a chance to have a look, touch , feel and smell all the product. Also we got to interact with the Soulflower team who very beautifully explained us about the company and their products. 

Post the session with Soulflower, Purple.com announced their new Salon Services, which I think is a fantastic idea. I will be doing a separate post on it, explaining the same. 

The tete- a - tete was followed by some scrumptious lunch of Pizzas , Pastas , Tiramisu and Cappuccino. Over lunch we had a quick introduction session of bloggers and we got the opportunity to interact with each other. 

Post lunch we had a very interesting session of live soap making by Soulflower by Natasha Tuli , Co Founder Soulflower India. We headed to the SoulFlower Store in the mall and the pics below will tell you how a soap is made at Soulflower :) 

It was a very informative session about natural ingrediants and how they work for different skin type , also the entire session of soap making was such a delight to watch :) I hope I get to visit the Soulflower factory someday to understand the process in detail. 

We parted with a lot of information and some wonderful goodies from Soulflower and Purplle. You can see the bags in our hands :) There were some cute stationery from Purple and some lovely soaps , essential oils and bathing salts from Soulflower in cute velvette bags. 

Unfortunately a glass bottle of essential oils broke in my bag and all the goodies where spoilt. I had to discard everything , along with the whole bag. Else I would have clicked the pictures for you all. Also I wanted to review Soulflower products. But sigh.... :( 

Nevertheless. It was a wonderful event. Kudos to Purplle.com and Soulflower Team.
